Pantone recently announced their 2016 Colors of the year – Rose Quartz & Serenity. The Rose Quartz is essentially the blush color that we saw in much of last year’s wedding season. But the addition of Serenity – what some might call a light, periwinkle blue – adds a new twist. The colors evoke images of vintage antiques, billowy chiffon, and light-as-air macaroons yet are versatile enough for a beach-themed wedding, a rustic, backyard extravaganza or an elegant affair. Use these colors as the main focus, or as accents to keep your wedding on trend.

And if you’re a bride on a budget (and really, who isn’t) here are a couple of my favorite beauty picks that perfectly complement this season’s color palette. (Note: I was not paid a fee to promote these products. These are products I have actually used and love.)
